Friday, January 10, 2014

Volunteers will work alongside Habitat’s construction crew and future homeowners to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for a family in need.  Volunteers will be under direct sunlight the entire shift so please prepare accordingly. Sun-block and water will be provided on site. No experience is necessary! We have trained crew leaders to guide you through the day’s tasks.

Address: 103 NW 6th Avenue, Boynton Beach, FL 33435

(Please drive behind the house to find other properties under construction).

All volunteers must register online to attend the volunteer shift, directions are provided below. Volunteers who have not pre-registered will not be allowed to participate, this is for your safety and ensure a quick sign-in process.

Volunteers must arrive on time for the pre-shift circle up where they will receive instructions and safety information.  Late arrivers may be asked to leave and return a different day when they can participate for the entire shift.

Please leave all valuables (purses, cell-phones, wallets, etc. at home or in your car).

Please make sure to wear closed-toe shoes as well as light-weight clothes and to eat a full meal before arriving on site.
