Re: Nominations for 2023 BBA Board Vacancies

Dear Member in Good Standing:

As Secretary of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida (the “Association”), it is my responsibility to send you the enclosed Nominating Petition for this year’s board member elections.  You should refer to the Association’s By-Laws if you have any questions about election procedures. 

The following offices are open for election:  President Elect, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  Each officer serves a one-year term. Three director positions are open for election:  two At-Large Directors and one West Palm Beach Director.  To qualify for the West Palm Beach Director seat, the candidate must practice primarily in the West Palm Beach Division.  Each director serves a three-year term.

If you are interested in serving as an officer or director for the Association, please sign the enclosed Nominating Petition, have same signed by at least five (5) members in good standing of the Association (which signatures do not include your own), and promptly return the completed petition to Ross Hartog:
