Position Description:
The office of Greenspoon Marder in West Palm Beach, Florida is looking for a Trustee Legal Assistant to work approximately 30 hours a week for their bankruptcy practice group, preferably with 3+ years of experience.
Practice Description:
The Greenspoon Marder West Palm Beach bankruptcy practice group focuses on matters involving the representation of bankruptcy trustees, for which the shareholder involved with that group is a panel trustee, as well as mostly representing the interests of creditors. The staff position being offered would be working for the shareholder in his capacity as trustee in bankruptcy.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate must have experience handling clerical matters within the trustee department, including calendaring, preparing Shareholder for 341 calendars (court hearings as trustee), and generally keeping track of all trustee cases. Most be familiar with ECF (electronic case filing), Outlook, BMS or similar bankruptcy trustee computer program, and the ability to handle a volume of cases.
